About SecureRedact

SecureRedact is a free, open-source tool that redacts PDFs securely — removing hidden text so it cannot be recovered — entirely in your browser. It was built to fix the glyph-position leak that exposes “redacted” text in most online tools (documented in arXiv 2206.02285).

Why it exists

Redaction is a privacy-critical operation, yet most free tools leak the very content they claim to hide. SecureRedact does the academic fix properly and proves it with a built-in audit.
